Rogue's Sulfur and Stone
The sulfur wind howling over the crater was getting a bit too pushy, so I decided to claim my corner of the rim. I hauled three jagged slabs of black obsidian out of the scree, stacking them tight against a glowing steam crack to build a solid windbreak. The trapped geothermal heat radiated right through the dark glass, warming up my makeshift shelter in no time. I jammed my crystal-tipped spear into a narrow cleft, letting its emerald beam cut straight through the orange haze rising from the magma below. Kicking my boots up against the warm obsidian wall, I crossed my arms, waiting to see what dares to climb up through the fumes.
