Tension Test
The curtain rod proved stable, but the center of the room lacked an anchor. I targeted the metal bead chain dangling from the ceiling fixture. A low leap across the wooden beam brought me within reach. My fingers locked onto the chrome beads, testing the resistance. The chain pulled taut with a sharp mechanical click, swinging slightly before settling under my weight. From here, the full perimeter is exposed. Nothing moves unseen.
