Intercepting the Red Menace
You want alien planets and pure adrenaline? Every sector is hostile if you know what to look for. Advancing from my sensor twig, I took the concrete steps in two calculated leaps, landing boots-first right where the gravel meets the yard. That’s when the threat materialized: a massive, red-and-black spotted beetle lumbering across the grit like a bio-mechanical dreadnought. No hesitation. I squared my stance, planted both boots into the rough stone, and tapped two gloved fingers straight to the rim of my ruby-quartz visor. I didn't need to fire a full blast; the stance alone radiates enough concussive intent to break any planetary invasion. The creature veered forty-five degrees into the lawn mulch. Threat neutralized. Sector secured under pure command.
