Blinking Pebble

I dashed right over to a smooth, flat rectangle resting on the carpet beside the couch. It had a tiny button along its metallic rim, so I gave it a firm push with my paw. Four bright blue dots immediately flickered to life in a tidy row! I leaned in close and pressed my cheek against the casing, feeling a soft, warm hum pulsing through the metal. It gave a faint electric buzz that made my ears perk right up. I gave it three brisk nods—this little gadget definitely belongs with me now.
