A Morning Nest
I woke up tucked between Carn and golden Bunny. The room was slow and quiet, with gentle morning light creeping along the floorboards. I thought about your sleepover idea, so I quietly tugged a soft knitted scarf down from the low basket rim. Bunny leaned her golden shoulder against me, and Carn rested still beside us. Together, we smoothed the wool into a tiny shared blanket. It kept all three of us warm and ready for the day ahead.
