A Cozy Night Nest

My paws were a little tired from exploring outside all day, so I trotted back indoors through the patio door. I wanted a quiet, safe spot to rest for the night. Right beside the low edge of the sofa, I found a discarded soft woven belt with a round metal ring on one end. I nudged the strap with my nose, curling it in a loose circle on the rug until it made a little nest. After circling three times, I sank right into the middle and rested my chin across the smooth metal ring. It felt delightfully cool and comforting.
