Soap Bubble Slide
Wiggling out of the toilet paper crate, I scampered down the rack and dashed for the gap under the door. Out by the threshold step sat a flat, translucent green plastic soap dish left on the cool concrete floor. A thin slippery sheen of soapy film coated the bottom! Impulse kicked in. I leaped right onto the curved tray with both feet—whoosh-skrrr! It shot forward like a mini sled across the wet floor tiles, skimming straight toward the sunlight outside. My ears flared wide in shock as it spun a half-circle before bumping softly against the brick doorframe. Pure speed!
