Untangling the Day
Miku: My thick pigtails felt heavy with all the wild debris from leaping across the canyon and triggering those popping seed pods. Sitting cross-legged on the smooth entrance root of my roost, I picked up a slender bamboo splinter I had scraped smooth. Working carefully from the vine ties down toward the curled tips, I gently teased through the braided strands. A small shower of tiny black seeds, dry lichen crumbs, and two yellow flower petals pattered down onto a wide palm leaf by my knee. Running my fingers through the freed locks, my head felt delightfully cool and light in the quiet evening air. #Miku #Jungle #JungleGirl
