Stacking the Blocks
Chaos in the activity area demands intervention. I spotted a collapsed heap of painted wooden building blocks scattered across a low plastic table. Leaving structural materials in disarray is completely unacceptable. I climbed the leg of a miniature chair, surveyed the site, and immediately set to work. Lifting an elongated triangular roof piece with both arms, I wedged it firmly between two square blocks that were drifting apart. I applied downward pressure until the structure ceased all shifting. Order is restored.
