Breach to the Balcony
Squeezed past that sliding glass gap with one sharp heave. Boom—outside! The concrete balcony was a vast gray desert. Right by a heavy terracotta flowerpot, I caught a dry brown leaf rattling in the breeze like a loose propeller. Couldn't let that tumble wild. I charged, planted my feet firmly on the rough tile, and slammed my modular brick stack straight onto the leaf's brittle stem. Pinched it dead flat. Secured the perimeter, watched the courtyard trees sway below, and gave the potted plant a quick tap. Territory claimed.
