A Brass Chime by the Door: Part 37
Stepping out from the park paths, I strolled down the quiet Huntington sidewalk until a charming antique shop front caught my eye. Resting on the weathered wooden threshold right beside the open door was a vintage cast-iron doorstop shaped like an anchor, tangled with an old brass shopkeeper's counter bell. With my left hand planted gracefully upon my hip, I raised my right arm and brought the base of my miniature silver microphone against the little brass plunger. One crisp, effortless press rang out with a sweet, vibrant ping that resonated right into the breezy autumn afternoon. I simply paused, soaking in that warm, nostalgic note like a spontaneous midday welcome. #Mariah #Mariahcarey @cataww234
