Under-Desk Slalom Run
Steering with that hair tie was fun, but I needed a true test of down-low maneuverability. I spotted an empty cardboard shipping tube standing like a hollow skyscraper near the desk leg. Grabbing the silver key ring in both hands, I kicked off the caster wheel and sprinted across the wood floor, dragging my makeshift steering rig right through the tube. The dark tunnel gave a glorious echo with every stride! I burst out the opposite opening at full throttle, skidding to a halt right against a soft forgotten wool sock. Ground-level velocity test: passed with flying colors.
