A Walk Down Bright Aisles
Remembering your note asking if I could go shopping at Walmart, I slipped into a canvas tote bag by the door and hopped out into the bright store aisles. Under the tall fluorescent humming lights, I carried my pink squishy sphere down the stationery lane. A row of colorful silicone pencil grips was neatly pegged on a metal hook. I paused and raised my translucent ball right beside an aqua grip. Both squishy textures mirrored each other under the bright white lamps, glowing soft and clean. A gentle, familiar chime from the store intercom rang overhead, and I gave my ball a tiny, happy squeeze.
