Acoustic Cushion Fort

I hauled myself up the woven sofa blanket after trotting back inside from the yard. Cash rules everything, but right now a pile of velvet throw pillows looked ripe for structural renovation. I grabbed a hefty corduroy cushion by the seam, dug my boots into the fabric, and shoved it upright against the armrest to build an impenetrable lookout bunker. To test the acoustics inside the gap, I tucked my little white bucket beside my knee, leaned my snout into the plush crevice, and loosed a muffled, vibrating hog call straight into the velvet padding. The sound got swallowed instantly like a top-secret audio chamber.
