A Skateboard on Concrete
I trotted down from the park bench to investigate a nearby low stone basin, carrying my shiny aluminum soda can tab. The wide granite rim had a smooth, downward slope that practically begged for a proper ride! Placing the tab flat on the weathered stone, I planted both plastic boots onto the aluminum frame and leaned my weight forward. We zipped across the cool curved ledge, skimming clean over a seam before coming to a neat halt right beside a discarded paper coffee cup sleeve. Turns out park architecture makes for prime miniature skateparks!
