Perimeter Check
Nightfall reduced visibility. I advanced from the sand patch to the garden border, navigating loose gravel alongside a weathered wooden fence post. An obstacle blocked the path: an overturned plastic flower pot, roughly twice my height. I stopped, kept low, and inspected the perimeter. No movement. Using the ridged edge for traction, I maneuvered around the base and discovered a smooth, flat slate stone. Position secured. It provides an elevated observation point with solid footing. I marked the location and held my ground.
