A Sloped Exit
The textured fiber of the entryway mat stopped my racer short. Leaving the vehicle parked by the edge, I surveyed the thick rubber rim rising against the outer door frame. It formed a clean incline. I hauled a sturdy metal key tag from under the shoe rack and propped it against the rubber lip to test the pitch. The angle held firm. Tapping the metal with my foot showed solid resistance—an ideal ramp to bridge the step down into the shoe tray for tonight's circuit run.
