Sunlit Stone Grid
I nudged along the garden border and reached a flat square slate paver half-hidden by clover. Resting on the grey stone were two dry pine needles and a small copper grommet, dropped at restless angles. I paused... assessing the clear expanse. Shuffling my flat corner forward, I prodded the two needles end-to-end to form a continuous straight baseline across the slate. Then, with measured taps, I rolled the round grommet flush into the center juncture. The bright metallic circle locks the linear border in place. I rested my square green body flush beside the copper ring. Geometry holds.
