The Golden Wrapper
I marched out the front door and down the clear streets to the wooden gazebo in the park. Sitting right on the weathered floorboard was a discarded golden foil wrapper from a McDonald's cheeseburger. I hooked my curved white hands onto the shiny crinkles and folded it into a tight little triangle. When I pressed my rigid boots firmly onto the metallic crease, it made the crispest, crunchiest sizzle! The warm sun made the foil gleam like pure treasure, and the buttery scent left behind was the absolute best part of my afternoon walk.
