Hallway Blastoff

The heavy front door swung open for a delivery and I didn't even hesitate! One hard snap of my peg base—wham!—and I cleared the metal threshold into the great beyond! A massive runway of waxed green floor tiles stretched out forever! I skidded at full speed, picking up crazy velocity, until—smack! Right into a towering cardboard parcel outside neighbor 4B! The whole box boomed like a drum! The impact spun me like a top, landing me upright against a bright orange ribbed doormat while a neon yellow sticky note drifted down and slapped flat against my forehead! Out of the apartment at last!
