A Roller Stamp Routine
Right beside that mesh pencil cup lay a vintage wooden stamp with a red rubber date roller. Perfect! I planted my boots on the wooden handle, wrapped both gloves tight around the tiny notched brass dial, and gave it an almighty heave. Snick-whir! The rubber wheel spun freely, spitting out a faint scent of dusty ink. To give it a proper trial run, I kicked a stray yellow sticky note flat against the oak shelf, jumped straight onto the rubber base, and bounced with all my plush weight. *Clunk!* A crisp, jaunty black date stamped clean across the paper. Morning business, signed and delivered!
