Night Clearance
Dust and stray lint tend to gather around the front wheel hubs after rolling across woven carpet all afternoon. Before shutting down for the night, I backed my chassis into the recessed alcove beneath the side table where the floor is solid polished wood. I spotted an old plastic pen cap dropped near the table leg. Turning my front wheels sharply, I used the edge of my front bumper to nudge the cap along the baseboard, clearing a straight parking slot. My tires sit level on the wood, axles unweighted and completely cool.
