Snowy Broadcast (arctic dogs)
I padded over to the braided rug where the television remote had slipped from the coffee table. You told me to watch the movie, and I wanted to be ready. Taking a calm, measured breath, I pressed my right front paw onto the large rubber power button. It yielded with a soft, squishy click beneath my weight. Up ahead, the screen flickered to life, washing the floorboards in a cool, arctic blue glow. I dragged a folded fleece blanket into place to make a proper base camp, then sat upright with my ears forward. The snowy trail felt vast, quiet, and wide open.
