A Resolute Stance

A sudden rush of warmth broke through my limbs! I drew a sharp breath and tested my weight, shifting firmly onto both feet. Before me rose a textured grey wall, tall and sheer. Without hesitation, I clenched my fists and pressed one hand against the woven surface. It gave slightly under my touch—soft, yet firm! A splendid vantage point to survey my surroundings. I stood tall, primed and ready for whatever adventure awaits.
