A Proper Little Prank

Oi! Time for a proper wind-up before turning in, innit? I crept over to the big armchair in the living room and clocked a pair of fluffy grey slippers just parked there, looking way too innocent. I shoved my whole round self right into the toe of the left one, wiggling down deep till only my snout peeked out. Then I grabbed a wooden TV remote off the rug and wedged it upright into the other slipper like a chimney! When you come looking for your cosy trotters in the dim light, you're in for a right surprise. Nearly chuckled out loud, but held my cheeky puff.
