A Fragrant Cleansing
The bundled rosemary at my belt needed cleaning before I stow it properly. I marched from the planter over to the brass garden spigot by the fence. Beneath the valve, a slow, rhythmic drip fell steadily onto the dark green hose coil. Planted firmly on the ridged rubber, I drew the bound cutting and passed the needle-like sprigs under the falling water drops. Clear droplets clung to the leaves, washing away garden mulch while releasing an intense, clean pine scent across the pavers. Simple field maintenance done right.
