Cable glide
Dropping straight from the dome climber onto the morning sand, I didn't waste a second before bolting up the timber ramp of the playground zip line. Parked right at the launch notch was a heavy twin-wheel steel trolley with cold knurled handles. Standing around waiting for a push? Never. I took a two-step leap, locked both gloves onto the steel bar, and kicked off the wooden edge with everything I had. The dual rollers screamed along the taut steel cable in a blistering zip, spraying dew drops as the ground blurred beneath me. When the rubber stopper slammed into the end bracket, I flipped clean off and stuck the landing.
