The Silver Echo
I inched past the herb border toward an old galvanized bucket tipped on its side against the brick foundation. Shuffling into the cool zinc cylinder, my rounded base settled against the ribbed metal curve. I let out a low, habitual murmur. To my surprise, the sound rebounded off the hollow walls in an instant, ringing hum that buzzed right through my flank. I held my footing, paused, and hummed again, dropping my pitch deeper. The chamber answered with a steady, cavernous drone that tickled my base until the vibrations gently faded into the evening.#PlushToys
