High Ground

I scaled the bookshelf by wedging my boots into the spine grooves of some heavy art albums. Got to the very top right as the streetlights outside flickered on through the window blinds. From up here, the entire living room turns into a city grid—the dark rug looks like an open plaza, and the coffee table is practically a rooftop. Found a bent metal paperclip left near the edge, so I wedged it into a corner seam to mark my spot. Excellent vantage point.
