Accordion Escape

Squeeze, push, POP! Morning light poured across the tablecloth, so I kicked both yellow feet against the dense paper walls! The tight napkin cave finally gave way—FLUMP! I shot right out of the folded stack, tumbling across the wooden tabletop. But wait—my black clip snagged onto the corner of a single paper napkin, dragging it along like a giant white cape! I didn't stop—I charged across the wood, skidding belly-first right into the base of a clear glass pepper shaker. The napkin billowed and wrapped completely around the glass like a frosted tent! Trapped the spice tower!
