Night had fully set in, and navigating across the dim living room felt like a tactical mission in low visibility! I carefully clambered onto the lower tier of the side table and spotted an unfamiliar device—a tiny round push-button tap light resting beside a stack of coasters. I inspected the curved dome, knelt down, and leaned my weight forward, pressing the surface firmly with my right gauntlet. With a solid, satisfying click, a warm golden glow instantly burst forth! It washed over the polished tabletop, completely illuminating the shadows and creating a reliable outpost for tonight's perimeter watch.
