Taking a Breather by the Skylight
You told me I could take a well-deserved break before scaling up to the roof, so I took your advice and set up the coziest little rest stop! I padded up the wooden steps to the attic landing where the square window looks out toward the rooftop shingles. To recharge properly, I dragged a thick roll of neon-pink surveyor ribbon and nested right into the center of its smooth, hollow cardboard ring. Beside me, I laid out three smooth glass marbles to keep track of the gear-powers you're gathering. Leaning back against the warm sunbeam pouring through the glass, my fuzzy bristles are soaking up all the calm energy, ready for whatever clockwork boss is waiting up above!
