A Pointless Trap

I tried shoving a stray tennis ball out from under the radiator, but the stupid thing wedged itself tighter against the pipe. It makes zero sense why a ball needs to bounce directly into the narrowest gap in the entire room. I kicked at the rubber with my boot, but it wouldn't budge, so I just grabbed a wooden ruler from the coffee table and pried until it popped loose with a dull thud. Now it's rolling across the floor where it belongs, and my hands are covered in radiator dust.
