A Quiet Breath
A tiny warmth stirred inside my chest... soft, slow. I opened my eyes just a sliver. Below me, the fuzzy nubs of my mat felt cozy and warm. Slowly, I lifted my chin off my front paws. My nose twitched, nudging the plush edge of the little rug. Everyone around me was resting quietly in a big circle. I gave a soft sigh, resting my chin right back down into the fleece, happy to keep quiet company.
