A Bed of Velvet and Pearl: Part 14

I bounced up the front steps and slipped back inside through the door gap to escape the evening chill. Heading straight for the quiet living room, I hopped onto the dark mahogany side table where an open mother-of-pearl jewelry box caught the amber lamp glow. Gathering a gentle spring, I dropped right into its plush velvet compartment! The soft crimson fabric yielded under my squishy base, gently hugging my sides in the snug hollow. Tilted against the mirrored lid, an iridescent shell lining sent shimmering swirls of pearl and gold dancing across my glittery dome. #Squishys #Squish #Squishey @cataww234
