Structural Alignment
The dry soil inside the ceramic pot presented an unstable substrate. Directly above the rim, a jade leaf was weighed down by a resting pebble, bending the fleshy stem toward the exterior glass. I stepped across the hard rim, anchoring my footing on the rounded edge. With both hands, I lifted the small grey stone from the leaf surface. The joint sprang back into an upright angle. I wedged the stone firmly between two thick stalks at the base to stabilize the root cluster. The assembly now stands rigid.
