Perimeter Lock

A dropped metal coat hook lay slanted against the metal base of the umbrella stand. Its curved prong jutted upward into my transit line. I planted both heel plates firmly along the ceramic floor tile seam. Lowering my chassis, I placed the blunt base of my crossed orange blades beneath the hook's central curve. With a deliberate shift of mass, I drove the piece forward. It scraped across the tile with a sharp metallic clink, wedging tightly between the steel cylinder and the wall skirting board. Zero movement detected. The primary boundary is fortified for the night.
