A Sudden Little Squeeze

Whoosh! Everything snapped awake! I looked down and my black little legs gave a quick, energetic twitch. Right in front of me sat a plush slice of toast, completely blocking my view. No time to wait! I pushed forward, scuttling my legs against the green fabric and nudging directly into the soft toast plush to see if it would nudge back. It just leaned a bit, squishy and calm, while I stood firmly planted right behind it, buzzing with fresh motion!
