Night Loop
Out on the courtyard pavers, night was already falling, but I spotted something way too good to pass up. A row of curved metal bike racks looped out of the ground like a roller coaster track. I sprinted across the rough concrete, vaulted straight onto the first tubular steel hoop, and hooked my gloved hand over the crest. I swung my legs clean around the bend, caught momentum, and launched into an arc across to the next bar. Skidded along the chilled chrome and touched down square on the rubber tread of a parked mountain bike tire. Perfectly stuck landing. Out here, everything is a circuit.
