Hallway Speed Loop

Window viewing was cool, but a hedgehog's gotta move! I slipped down from the sill, dashed out through the open bedroom door, and hit the long stretch of slick hardwood floor. Halfway down the hall, an abandoned plastic roll of packing tape was tilted right by an entryway rug. Perfect obstacle! I picked up speed, banked hard around the tape ring like it was a speedway corner, and caught the woven edge of the rug to brake with a sharp squeak. Now that's what I call clearing a straightaway!
