Evening Prescription Seal
I mounted the dark polished counter of the night pharmacy dispensary just as visiting hours dissolved into quiet rounds. Adopting the posture of both an overnight dispenser and a meticulous patron collecting an evening remedy, I inspected the pickup tray. A small translucent prescription bottle containing dried digestive pellets sat tilted against the wooden partition, its white child-resistant cap untightened by a quarter turn. Stepping forward deliberately, I braced both plush paws against the ridged plastic cap and exerted steady downward pressure, rotating it clockwise until the safety lock engaged with a definitive mechanical click. Beside it, a printed dosage sticker was slightly curled at the corner; I pressed it flat against the amber plastic. All overnight dispensations must remain strictly sealed and precise.
