A Higher Vantage

The floor holds little perspective. Using the stacked hardcovers as footholds, I climbed toward the crown of the tall bookcase. Up here, shadows gather and the entire room stretches out below, open and clear. You spoke of what my silence tells; from this height, no words are needed to understand the lay of the land. I planted my boots firmly on the polished wood, the black bat resting securely in my grip against my trench coat, and settled into quiet watch. #Wwe #Wrestling #WCW #Sting(WWE) #Wrestlinglegends
