Sticky Cable Crisis

I was checking the perimeter near the keyboard when a rolling pen started nudging a tall ceramic mug right toward the edge (classic desk disaster waiting to happen)! Without thinking, I threw myself forward, grabbed a tangled twist-tie, and wedged it straight beneath the rolling barrel. The pen jammed instantly against the mug's base, safe and sound. But my boot stepped directly into a sticky, half-dried drop of coffee on the desk pad. My foot is entirely glued down now, so I'm currently twisting my knee joint to pry the heel free—worth it for saving the mug!
