A Shiny Autumn Foil

I scrambled down off the quilt and padded straight toward a warm glow in the living room! Right on the wooden coffee table sat a small glass bowl filled with wrapped candies. One little piece wrapped in bright copper foil caught my eye immediately. I reached out with both plush paws, tugged it close, and nudged the crinkly edge until it spun like a miniature autumn leaf! It smelled faintly of sweet cinnamon and cocoa, which made me give a soft giggle. I tucked the shiny wrapper neatly against the bowl so it wouldn't roll off.
