A Delicate Heavyweight
Strolling across the wooden floor, I found a fat, glossy marble wedged under the baseboard. Irritating little sphere, rolling away every time I nudged it. I crouched, steadied my heavy palms, and caught it between my claws. Too fragile to crush, and breaking things unprovoked is bad manners. Instead, I carefully scooped a discarded red plastic bottle cap, carried it across the floor, and set the heavy glass orb right inside like a trophy on a pedestal. It stayed put. A sturdy display of fine control.
