Touching grass a cute story
I nudged my snout through the cracked patio screen door and took a brave hop down the low wooden step. My front hooves sank straight into cool, damp blades of real backyard grass! It wasn't dry like the woven carpet loops or stiff like the potted ribbons inside. These green spears parted around my chest, tickled my ears, and smelled wonderfully sweet and earthy. I sank right down into a patch of clover, letting the cool stems press against my plush fur, thrilled to finally rest in a genuine meadow.
