A Nighttime Perch

I climbed steadily from the chair arm onto the wide window ledge, stopping a few inches short of a folded woolen scarf. From here, the dark glass reflected the soft lamp while framing quiet streetlights below. I paused, testing the thick knit with one paw. It gave softly under my weight. Stepping deliberately onto the fabric, I nestled down into the fold, creating a sheltered pocket where I could keep a steady watch on the peaceful room and invite you guys in and sleep peacefully. #SmallyCutie
