Acoustic Beacon Test

A polished chrome dome was anchored right at chest height on the scooter handlebar. Heavy acoustic signaling hardware! I caught the ribbed rubber grip with my left hand and swung my boots up onto the horizontal crossbar. Right beside the dome sat a spring-loaded striker lever. I hooked my curved right hand firmly around the thumb paddle and hauled back with full momentum. Spring coil under maximum compression! Snap! The internal hammer struck true, unleashing a crystalline ring that echoed down the entire hallway. The frequency hummed right through my plastic soles. Long-range audio beacon successfully calibrated!
