The Glass Bubble
I waddled up from the floor onto the low bench, then scrambled onto the broad wooden windowsill. Perched near the glass was a small glass prism, casting a dancing rainbow across the pale painted sill. I sat back on my fuzzy haunches, watching the colored light ripple without making a sound. When it stayed quiet, I carefully leaned forward and nudged the cool angled glass with the brown plush straw in my mouth. It gave a faint chime against the sill, scattering sharp sparkles across my tummy. I tucked my paws in and settled down right beside the warm spot. #Golly
