A Gusty Balcony Leap

Why stay indoors when the open sky beckons? Finding the balcony sliding door cracked just wide enough, I squeezed through into the brisk afternoon air! Right before me stood a tall green metal watering can, clearly crying out to serve as an Olympic high-dive platform. I scampered up its curved handle, extended both arms grandly toward the cityscape, and executed a tremendous backward somersault! Wham! I overshot my landing completely and plunged backwards into an empty wicker plant saucer full of dried leaves. A glorious shower of crunchy foliage erupted around me!
